Sunflower Photos Coming Soon

Every year we enjoy taking photos of families, children and pets in the sunflower fields.  This year is no exception.  Right now, we are compiling a list of those who are interested in sunflower pictures.  As the plants mature, we'll give you as much warning as possible on when it's time to schedule your appointment.

When Will Pictures Be Taken?

We don't know exactly when the sunflowers will bloom this year, but here is what we do know:

-The sunflowers typically open the last week of August or the first week of September.

-The blooms last for about 1 week.  If weather is ideal conditions, we'll get 2 weeks of photos out of them.

-There is NO shade in the fields.  If you are light sensitive, ask for an evening appointment.

Perfect For Families

The sunflower fields are perfect for families.  We'll be able to capture everyone together as well as various other groupings of children, parents and relatives.  Kids will have the freedom to run around and get their "wiggles out" as well as have posed pictures. 

Ideal For High School Seniors

School is starting soon and high school seniors are already booking their senior portraits.  The sunflower fields gives a unique background for senior pictures.  Stand out from the crowd with this dazzling yellow location.
